Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Respiratory Therapist to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients with a variety of illnesses and diseases, including acute and chronic cardio-respiratory conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide ongoing respiratory care to patients in a multi-disciplinary setting
  • Work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Consult, confer, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Enhance quality of life for patients and their families
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
  • Graduation from a recognized Respiratory Therapy program
  • Current certification with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) and eligible for registration
  • Current valid BC Driver's License as required in the specific practice area
