About the Role

As a Physiotherapist at Michael Garron Hospital, you will be an integral member of our inter-professional team. Your primary responsibility will be to provide assessment, consultation, and education to patients, family members, and the healthcare team across various in-patient units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments to develop effective treatment plans
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless patient care
  • Provide education to patients and their families on condition management and self-care techniques
  • Promote program development and evaluation initiatives
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary patient conferences

Requirements

  • Registration and licensure with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario in good standing
  • Recent experience in acute care hospital-based medicine and geriatric care (preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Motivation to practice in accordance with the hospital's mission and vision
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing education and professional development

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Additionally, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
