Job Summary
We're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Commercial Insurance Broker to work out of our Cobourg, Barrie, or Aurora ON branch. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for building relationships with clients, generating sales, and providing expert advice on commercial insurance solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a book of business, identifying new sales opportunities and growing existing relationships
- Work closely with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, underwriting rules, and workflow processes to ensure optimal results
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer service and drive business growth
- Participate in training and professional development initiatives to enhance skills and knowledge
- Contribute to community marketing initiatives and events to build brand awareness and drive sales
Requirements
- High school diploma or post-secondary education
- 2 years of personal insurance experience, with commercial lines/farm experience an asset
- RIBO license required
- Strong customer focus, analytical, and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
