The Aecon Group, a leading energy solutions provider, is seeking an experienced HVAC Sales Representative to join their team. This role offers a unique opportunity to build a business in residential heating and cooling technologies, selling a range of products including heat pumps, furnaces, air conditioners, and water heaters to homeowners.

This position requires an individual with a successful tenure in B2C technical sales and a strong working knowledge of mechanical systems, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through effective communication and excellent customer service.
  • Deliver customer-based utilization services, including equipment selection, sizing, quoting, and installation, while ensuring professionalism and quality.
  • Manage inbound leads to assess technical and physical replacement requirements, preparing pricing, proposals, contracts, and coordinating project execution as needed.
  • Maintain a CRM database for accounts and opportunities, collecting customer information and market intelligence.
  • Conduct canvassing and selling to new and existing customers, leveraging industry knowledge and sales expertise.
  • Provide financial KPIs around pricing and margins, driving business growth and revenue.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration or equivalent working experience.
  • 1-5 years of sales experience or a customer-facing role, with a proven track record of delivering performance objectives and sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with good computer skills and industry knowledge considered assets.
  • HRAI Certification for HVAC programs and designs is a plus.

Salary Range:$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, with opportunities for bonuses and career advancement.
