Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at CB Canada. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing Consolidated Financial Statements, analyzing payroll, benefits, and insurance, and maintaining parallel accounting systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare Consolidated Financial Statements
  • Analyze payroll, benefits, and insurance
  • Maintain parallel accounting systems
  • Prepare quarterly audit schedules
  • Review and explain variances to budget on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Support the preparation of all public company filings, including financial statements, notes, and supporting documents and schedules
  • Prepare internal and external ad hoc reports and financial analysis as required
  • Support compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience working at a similar level (senior accounting level) in a large/mid-size organization
  • Experience with consolidations, intercompany transactions, internal controls, and IFRS
  • CPA designation
  • Strong Excel skills, proficient with VLOOKUPs and PivotTables
  • Asset: ERP system experience, experience in a similar industry (manufacturing/distribution/construction), and experience with a large multi-entity environment
  • Strong communication skills
