Job Overview

The Retail Store Manager is a key position at Canna Cabana, responsible for driving store success through effective leadership and operational expertise.

Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  2. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring stock adequacy and minimizing waste.
  3. Sales and Revenue: Drive sales growth, manage revenue, and balance sales data to inform business decisions.
  4. Operations: Supervise staff, coordinate work schedules, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  5. Finance: Reconcile bank statements, manage cash flow, and make informed financial decisions.
  6. Staff Development: Train and motivate staff, promoting a positive work environment and fostering employee growth.
Requirements
  • Valid QCW/Sell Safe certification is mandatory.
  • Completion of high school and College/CEGEP/vocational or technical training.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a supervisory role in a retail environment.
  • Proven excellent customer service skills.
  • Management experience preferred.
  • Excellent time management and prioritizing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to train and motivate staff.
  • Skills to monitor and assess staff performance.
  • Basic office administration skills.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite.
  • Highly effective teamwork skills.
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

  • Able to plan and organize work effectively and ensure its completion.

  • Ability to work any shift based on business needs, Monday to Sunday.
  • Ability to work nights, holidays, and weekends at different locations.
  • Professional, responsive, and positive work attitude is essential.
