About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Compiler Engineer to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Annapurna Labs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance compilers for deep learning acceleration on AWS Inferentia and Trainium.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement innovative compiler solutions to optimize deep learning workloads on AWS Inferentia and Trainium.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy cutting-edge deep learning technologies.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, highly available, and scalable software solutions.
  • Research and implement new compiler techniques to improve performance, efficiency, and reliability.
About the Team

Our team is dedicated to supporting new members and fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and mentorship. As a senior member of our team, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, participate in code reviews, and contribute to the development of our compiler technology.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.
  • 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
