About the Role

We are seeking an experienced pet groomer to provide top-quality grooming services to our clients at Uni Pet Grooming & Supplies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and any health concerns.
  • Wash and groom dogs and cats using appropriate shampoos and conditioners, ensuring they are clean and free of dirt and debris.
  • Trim and shape fur according to pet owner preferences.
  • Clip or grind nails to a safe length, check and clean ears of pets.
  • Groom pets with special needs or medical conditions, requiring additional care and attention.
  • Observe pets for signs of health issues.
  • Clean and disinfect grooming tools, disinfect cages, pens, and surrounding areas.
  • Maintain records of services provided and any observations about the pet's health.
  • Recommend grooming products such as shampoos, conditioners, and brushes for pet owners.
Requirements
  • Completion of secondary school is required.
  • Training courses or college courses in animal handling, grooming, or other animal-related discipline is preferred.
  • Minimum one year of working experience in pet grooming.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented, patient, and tenacious individual.
