About This Role

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Mortgage Banking Specialist. As a key member of our mortgage lending team, you will be responsible for identifying client life and financial goals, providing recommendations, and ongoing relationship/portfolio management. You will also have the opportunity to create long-term relationships by providing financial planning expertise and ongoing services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice to customers on mortgage products and services.
  • Identify opportunities to refer clients to internal partners (e.g., Wealth, Retail, Small Business Banking, Commercial).
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of clients' financial circumstances and create long-term relationships through financial planning expertise and ongoing services.
  • Create legendary customer experiences at every interaction and deliver positive 'First Impressions' by engaging customers in sales, service, and informational conversations.
  • Sustain sound knowledge of the real estate market, competitive offers in the mortgage lending industry, and economic trends.
  • Proactively obtain expert knowledge of TD's mortgage lending products and possess sound knowledge of products.
  • Ensure customer problems are handled professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.
  • Build and exhibit sales skills and credit knowledge, partnering effectively within TD's employee-focused culture.
  • Work closely with District Managers to make sales calls and conduct monthly coaching sessions.

Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is $75,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or community college diploma preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working directly in a client-facing, sales, or relationship-focused role.
