Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy equipment such as pavers and rollers, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate pavers and rollers to prepare and maintain construction sites
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment, including cleaning and lubricating
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safe operation
  • Prepare accident reports and secure special attachments to equipment as needed
  • Perform minor repairs to equipment to minimize downtime

Requirements:

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in heavy equipment operation
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols
