About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Driver/Shipper Receiver to join our team at ICONIX. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering products to customers and job sites in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver products to customers and job sites in a timely and efficient manner
- Receive and stock product in the warehouse
- Pick customer orders from inventory stock and complete to meet productivity and accuracy standards
- Load and unload orders/shipments
- Complete all paperwork and documentation required
- Ensure yard and warehouse is clean and organized
- Comply with health and safety measures
What We're Looking For:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to health and safety, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1+ years' of related experience
- A minimum valid Class DZ license
- Maintain a clean background and driving record
- A high level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Had success working in a fast-paced environment thanks to your ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Organizational skills, communication skills, and attention to detail
- The skills to use a variety of technology and new computer applications
- The ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs
- A positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
- The ability to work in inclement weather as required
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
