Job Title: Senior Python Developer

Global Financial Firm located in Mississauga, ON has an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Senior Python Developer.

Job Summary:

This role is a Senior Python developer for a critical data driven application.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain Python, SQL, and web development in the data analytics and web application development environment.
  • Take ownership of the application, code development tasks, testing, and production release activities.
  • Troubleshoot and fix bugs on priority.
  • Resolve web application security vulnerabilities.
  • Adhere to the mandatory SDLC requirements and processes for the various stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Research and develop proof of concept code for business requirements and develop the overall solution for production.
  • Train and mentor within the team.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working in Banking or Financial Services would be a plus.
  • Team Player and Excellent communication skills.
