Job Summary

Farm Boy is seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for all customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide assistance to customers with their purchases and answer any questions they may have.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the checkout area and surrounding areas.
  • Work effectively in a team environment to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Comply with all corporate policies, including Health and Safety, Food Safety, and equipment use.

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point of sale system.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Fluency in English and French is an asset.

Work Environment:

  • Required to stand for long periods of time during shift.
  • Regularly required to perform repetitive and/or precise hand/finger movements.
  • Required to lift, carry or handle heavy objects.
