We are seeking an Audiometric Technician to join our team at Island Health.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per yearThis role requires a unique blend of technical skills and interpersonal abilities. As an Audiometric Technician, you will be responsible for conducting audiometric testing and providing support to patients in both acute care and community health settings.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct audiometric testing using various equipment and software.
- Provide accurate and reliable test results to healthcare professionals.
- Support patients with hearing loss or other auditory disorders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care.
- Degree in a related field (e.g., audiology, speech-language pathology) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One year of experience as an Audiometric Technician or equivalent combination of education and experience in a similar clinical setting.
- Working knowledge of computer software and electronic medical records systems.
- A competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per year.
