Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Randstad Canada. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for scheduling and dispatching drivers to pick up and deliver loads to and from customers. You will also assist in achieving the objectives of the pick-up and drop-off operations, maintain contact with drivers throughout the day, and plan the P&D activities and staffing required to meet the objectives.

Responsibilities
- Schedule and dispatch drivers to pick up and deliver loads to and from customers.
- Assist in achieving the objectives of the pick-up and drop-off operations.
- Maintain contact with drivers throughout the day.
- Plan the P&D activities and staffing required to meet the objectives.
- Ensure drivers are aware of all/any unusual delivery/pickup requirements and update TMS System (Truck Mate).
- Ensure drivers are made aware of all appointment deliveries, cash collects and C.O.D.'s.
- Monitor and track all equipment as assigned or moved.
- Support with driver check-in when required.
- To ensure all updates in Truck Mate System are done in real time for statuses of all trucks and trailers.

Qualifications
- French and English is necessary.
- 2 to 4 years experience in Dispatching LTL transport environment, city/local dispatching.
- 1 year experience using TMS software (Truckmate preferred).
- A true team player who posses leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and works well under pressure.
- Organized and ability to prioritize tasks.
