The SSA Group is seeking a highly skilled Estimator and Project Coordinator to join their team. As a key member of the estimating process, this individual will be responsible for managing the estimating process for assigned projects or for portions of a project requiring special expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed quantity take-off and prices labour, material, and equipment portions of estimates.
  • Manage the estimating process, including site conditions and safety requirements.
  • Identify and quantify potential project Risks.

Pre-Construction Procurement:

  • Lead internal construction project start-up meetings and administrative project setup.
  • Participate in developing procurement plans, labour and equipment forecast, logistics plan and site workflow, project risk register, and project plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in Engineering, Architecture, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Construction Management or related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in preconstruction estimating.
