About the Role

As a key member of the Engineering Services team, you will report directly to the Mechatronics Software Team Leader. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the successful definition, implementation, and validation of the OTA (over-the-air) software update system for various electronic modules (ECUs) of BRP vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Select and implement appropriate technologies to meet project requirements
  • Design and develop test cases to validate proposed concepts
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or robotics with software expertise
  • Oral and written bilingualism (French/English) with ability to communicate with stakeholders outside Quebec or unilingual English on a daily basis
  • Good knowledge of microcontroller architecture, memory configurations, device drivers, compiler, and debugger
  • Practical experience with UDS, CAN, and Ethernet protocols is an asset
  • Significant knowledge of C and C++ programming languages, as well as scripting languages such as Python
