Job DescriptionThe Partnerships Specialist will play a key role in driving strategic partnerships for Health Research BC. This individual will identify and negotiate partnerships with external organizations, establish relationships with funding partners, and proactively seek new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Partnerships: Support the development and lead the implementation of partnerships that advance our partnership plan.
- Foster External Partnerships: Work with health research funders and interested parties to identify and co-develop new funding-based partnerships.
- Promote Partner Relationships: Prepare agreements, award packages, and other documents supporting the lifecycle of a partnership.
- Oversee Partnered Awards: Monitor and administer partnered awards and partnerships. Ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
- Education: Undergraduate degree in health, business management/administration, communications, or equivalent combination of education/training/experience.
- Experience: Minimum five years' professional experience related to business development, donor/partner relations, or health research administration/funding.
- Skills: Excellent communication/problem-solving skills; strong interpersonal/soft skills.
- Certifications/Licenses: None specified
