About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  1. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the mining and energy sectors, building relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
  2. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and expansion in the region.
  3. Operations Management: Oversee the management of our operations in the region, ensuring effective and efficient delivery of projects and services.
  4. Team Management: Lead and manage a team of professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their success and growth.
  5. Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
  6. Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis and research to identify trends and opportunities in the mining and energy sectors.

Requirements
  1. Education: University degree or college diploma in mechanical, industrial, electrical or civil engineering or equivalent.
  2. Experience: Minimum 10 years' relevant experience, with experience in a consulting engineering firm an asset.
  3. Skills: Strong business development and operations management skills, with expertise in team management and leadership.
  4. Knowledge: Knowledge of the mining and metals, or heavy industrial sector, with a significant network of contacts in these areas.
  5. Entrepreneurial Spirit: Entrepreneurial spirit, strategic vision, and business acumen.
