Key Responsibilities- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the mining and energy sectors, building relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and expansion in the region.
- Operations Management: Oversee the management of our operations in the region, ensuring effective and efficient delivery of projects and services.
- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their success and growth.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis and research to identify trends and opportunities in the mining and energy sectors.
- Project Management: Manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Education: University degree or college diploma in mechanical, industrial, electrical or civil engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years' relevant experience, with experience in a consulting engineering firm an asset.
- Skills: Strong business development and operations management skills, with expertise in team management and leadership.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of the mining and metals, or heavy industrial sector, with a significant network of contacts in these areas.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: Entrepreneurial spirit, strategic vision, and business acumen.
