We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at Deverdenne Davis Cyr LLP. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining general ledgers and financial statements, calculating fixed assets and depreciation, and preparing tax returns.

Work Setting

The ideal candidate will have experience working in an urban area and be proficient in accounting software, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Prepare and review financial statements
  • Calculate and record depreciation and amortization
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting
Requirements
  • College diploma or equivalent in accounting or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a related field
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
