Job Title: Sales Team Lead
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Team Lead to join our team at Buns Master Bakery. As a Sales Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales team, ensuring that sales targets are met, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are working efficiently.
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
- Authorize payments by cheque and order merchandise to ensure that the store is well-stocked.
- Establish work schedules and supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure that the store is running smoothly.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help the management make informed decisions.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that the store is well-stocked and that products are rotated regularly.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Perform opening and closing activities, including counting the till and ensuring that the store is secure.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a sales or supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
- Relocation costs covered by employer.
Work Setting: The Sales Team Lead will work in a fast-paced retail environment, overseeing the sales team and ensuring that sales targets are met.
