Database Systems Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for installing, monitoring, maintaining, securing, and performance tuning databases and applications to ensure high levels of data availability and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor database backups and recoveries, utilizing organizational skills, database administration, and computer skills to ensure database information is preserved and safeguarded.
- Respond to and resolve database access and performance issues using native and third-party tools.
- Develop, implement, and maintain change control and testing processes for modifications to databases.
- Monitor database system details within the database, including stored procedures and execution time, and implement efficiency improvements.
