About the Role
Are you a compassionate and caring individual looking to make a difference in the lives of others? As a Continuing Care Assistant with VON Canada (Nova Scotia), you will have the opportunity to work with clients in their homes, providing personal care and support. This is a rewarding role that requires a detail-oriented approach and physical activity, including lifting and bending.

**Job Description**
The ideal candidate will have a Continuing Care Assistant Certification (CCA) or be enrolled in the Nova Scotia CCA Recognizing Prior Learning (RPL) Program. You will also need to possess a valid driver's license, access to a reliable vehicle, and be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

In this role, you will be responsible for working with clients to provide personal care, assist with daily living activities, and plan and prepare meals and light household duties. You will also help with mobility and transfers, monitor and maintain household safety, and provide respite care. If you are interested in starting a career as a Continuing Care Assistant and are willing to complete the RPL Program, we encourage you to apply.
