About the Role

Pixel Networks is seeking a skilled Deck Installer to join our team. As a Deck Installer, you will be responsible for installing exterior prefabricated products, ensuring high-quality installations that meet our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Install exterior prefabricated products, including decking, fencing, and other related materials
  2. Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and ensure accurate installations
  3. Repair and service exterior prefabricated products, including decking and fencing
  4. Determine layout and installation procedures, taking into account customer preferences and site conditions
  5. Document and prepare invoices and work orders, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks
  6. Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations, ensuring accurate measurements and layout
  7. Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment
  8. Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment, ensuring timely delivery of materials
  9. Supervise other workers, providing guidance and support as needed
  10. Utilize hand and power tools, ensuring safe and efficient use of equipment
  11. Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms, ensuring safe and secure access to work areas
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Knowledge of exterior prefabricated products and installation procedures
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with 30 to 40 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced, and the ability to work in a team is essential. The language of work is English.
