About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Shiny Clean House. As a key member of our cleaning service company, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Bedding and Linens: Make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, and stock linen closets.
  • Kitchen and Bathroom Cleaning: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Disinfection and Sanitation: Disinfect operating rooms and other areas, clean and disinfect elevators, and handle lost and found items.
  • Customer Service: Provide basic information on facilities, address customers' complaints or concerns, and pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Additional Tasks: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers.
Work Environment
  • Work Setting: Staff accommodation available, private residence, and cleaning service company.
  • Transportation: Public transportation is available.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
