Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our client's dynamic team. The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and providing strategic financial guidance to support our continued growth.

The Chief Financial Officer will analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide management with insightful reports and recommendations. They will also develop and maintain financial models for budgeting and forecasting, ensuring accurate projections.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Yardi property management software and a strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles. Additionally, they will possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, as well as strong leadership and communication skills.

The Chief Financial Officer will oversee all accounting operations, including AP, AR, GL, and payroll, maintaining accuracy and integrity. They will implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.

The Chief Financial Officer will manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion. They will also develop and manage the annual budgeting process and prepare regular forecasts and variance analyses.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the real estate property management industry.
  • Extensive experience with Yardi property management software is essential.
  • Proven experience working in a small to mid-sized property management company.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
