Job Title: Construction Laborer

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Diamond Crete And Construction Inc. as a key member of our construction crew.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, including loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials, instructing apprentices, and performing various tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials
  • Instructing apprentices
  • Mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assisting in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Leveling earth to fine grade specifications
  • Assisting in demolishing buildings
  • Cleaning and piling salvaged materials
  • Removing rubble and other debris at construction sites
Requirements:
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) training
  • Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Experience with concrete vibrators, bushing guns, concrete saws, mortar and concrete mixers, grouting machine, chippers, jackhammers, air guns, nail guns, drills, chain saw, forklift, and sledgehammer
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with physical demands
