We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to join our team at Kiewit. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from planning and execution to delivery and closeout.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
  • Lead and manage project teams, including construction managers, superintendents, and engineers
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Monitor and control project costs, schedules, and quality
  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring project success
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with other departments, including HR, finance, and procurement

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in construction and/or project management, preferably in the industrial or hydroelectric market
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct project teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
