Furniture Assembly Foreman/Woman Job Description

At SCM Sofa City Manufacturing Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Furniture Assembly Foreman/Woman to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the assembly of our high-quality furniture products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Work Schedules: Plan and coordinate the assembly process to ensure efficient production and meet customer demands.
  • Train and Develop Team Members: Provide guidance and training to assembly team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure Safety and Quality: Oversee the assembly process to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Recommend Personnel Actions: Provide input on personnel matters, including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary actions.
  • Coordinate Activities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of assembly team members to ensure smooth production.
  • Requisition Materials: Order and manage the procurement of materials and equipment required for assembly.
  • Improve Productivity and Quality: Identify opportunities to improve productivity and product quality, and implement changes as needed.
