About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Advisor to join our team at Vention. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in weekly X-Sync meetings and support post-meeting action items, including handshake between functions.
  • Work on a project basis to develop solutions to complex business problems, leveraging analytics, strategic thinking, and market research.
  • Collaborate with the CEO on various business initiatives, spanning go-to-market, strategy, operations, finance, product development, and organizational design.
  • Drive the orchestration of company drumbeat (i.e., MBR & SLT) and support content preparation for the CEO.
  • Own the creation of Monthly Updates to investors and employees.
  • Support the creation of board of director presentations, including deep-dives and working sessions.
  • Participate in formal and informal end-of-day brainstorming with the CEO to reflect on emerging priorities, align on next steps, and adjust business direction as needed.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated distinctive work ethic and deep passion for delivering exceptional business solutions.
  • Best-in-class data analytics skills, with the ability to structure datasets, run complex analysis, and summarize insights.
  • High intellectual horsepower, with the ability to decompose problems, frame avenues to investigate, explore competing points of view, and advise the CEO on various paths forward.
  • Strong emotional intelligence, with the ability to navigate the organization across functions and seniority levels.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to synthesize and communicate complex information effectively.
  • Comfortable driving multiple initiatives in parallel across various business functions, including go-to-market, strategy, operations, finance, product development, and HR.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business, with a Master's degree from a top institution, both achieved with distinctive performance.
  • 3+ years of experience in management consulting or investment banking in a top-tier firm or equivalent.
  • Deep passion for industrial technology, robotics, and complex business problems.
