Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Physiotherapist to join our team at Arvan Rehab Group. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to our clients in a long-term care setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to improve or maintain the mobility and overall health of our clients.
  • Physiotherapy Services: Provide clinical physiotherapy treatments, including exercises and modalities, to help clients achieve their goals.
  • Education and Communication: Educate clients and their families on healthcare management, including self-care needs, physical and emotional health, and provide clear and concise communication with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of treatments and progress reports for each client.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the healthcare team, including nurses, physiotherapy assistants, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise physiotherapy assistants and students/interns, providing clear instructions and guidance to implement rehabilitation programs, group exercises, or one-on-one exercises.
Requirements
  • Registration and Licensure: Must be registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
  • Professional Insurance: Must have professional liability insurance.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and listening skills, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience: Experience working in a long-term care setting is an asset.
  • Certifications and Authorizations: ADP authorization is an asset, and a current police check for the vulnerable sector is required.
