Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in painting and decorating, with a focus on interior work. Responsibilities will include preparing surfaces for painting, repairing cracks and holes, mixing paint to the desired colour and texture, measuring, cutting and applying wallpaper and other fabrics to walls, advising consumers on colours and choice of wall coverings, erecting scaffolding and swing stages, and attaching rigging.
The successful candidate will be physically demanding, able to bend, crouch, and kneel, with excellent attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colours.
Required Skills and QualificationsA minimum of 1-2 years of experience in painting and decorating, preferably in an interior setting.
