Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

At DEEP KING LTD., we are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for driving a tractor-trailer combination over long distances, often across multiple states or provinces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs, using your problem-solving skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, ensuring the vehicle is in good working condition and all necessary safety checks are completed.
  • Communicate with central dispatch, receiving and relaying important information to ensure smooth operations.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, maintaining accurate records and adhering to company policies.
Requirements:
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Attention to detail, physical stamina, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
