IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Professional

The Field Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of field personnel who maintain and service facilities. This role reports to the Branch Manager or Branch Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to safety standards and practices.
- Perform duties as assigned and adhere to TEAM's Core Values.
- Plan, organize, and control assigned operations in accordance with established guidelines and schedules.
- Coordinate and supervise project-related activities to ensure job profitability.
- Monitor operations and ensure proper use of manpower, skills, equipment, and facilities.
- Provide guidance and direction to employees with difficulties and procedural problems.
- Schedule field personnel for work assignments and may perform field work on occasion.
- Act as a liaison between management and the workforce to maintain a high level of employer-employee relationships.
- Perform administrative procedures, including documentation, information dissemination, and task management.
- High school diploma or technical school/college credits preferred.
- Three years of experience in industrial operations or maintenance preferred.
- Current HAZWOPER Training Certificate required.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with working knowledge of PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint, and Adobe.
- NDT certificates (MT/UT/PT) an asset.
- Position based out of a branch or site location.
- Field duties require indoor and outdoor work in a plant atmosphere.
- Interaction with other crew employees, supervisors, and client personnel.
- Working in plant and/or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise levels.
- Must wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.
- May be required to travel out of town on a periodic basis.
- Ability to lift and carry 75 pounds.
- Must be able to walk and climb except when performing non-field duties.
- Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities.
- Sufficient vision or other powers of observation.
- Sufficient manual dexterity.
- Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes.
- Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication skills.
