Job Summary

This position requires a highly motivated and organized individual with expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining customer vehicles. The successful candidate will work effectively in a team environment, adhere to safety protocols, and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair customer vehicles as per work orders, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Maintain various safety certifications, including Whimis, TIA, Rim Safety course, and Customer Experience Standards.
  • Advise customers on vehicle condition, future repair requirements, and completed work, promoting transparency and trust.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications, and tune-ups, adhering to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Ensure personal and coworker safety by following established procedures and reporting incidents.
  • Operate company and customer vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to company policies.
  • Maintain equipment in good working order through regular inspections and repairs.
  • Contribute to inventory management by accurately documenting processes and participating in annual counts.
Working Conditions

  • Prolonged standing, crouching, or kneeling may be required throughout the day.
  • The role involves physical demands, exposure to varying weather conditions, and potential hazards; candidates must be willing to adapt and prioritize their well-being.
Requirements
  • 3rd or 4th-year Apprentice or Red Seal Automotive Service Technician certification, along with CVI Inspection Certification.
  • Diesel experience is considered an asset.
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory, accompanied by a satisfactory driver's abstract.
  • Superior customer service skills, excellent attitude, and a strong team player mentality.
