Job Title: Apprentice Plumber

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Apprentice Plumber to join our team at 365 Mechanical Ltd. As an Apprentice Plumber, you will assist experienced plumbers in installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in installing domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
  • Help repair and maintain plumbing systems
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine plumbing system layouts
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections and fixtures
  • Cut openings in walls and floors for pipes and pipe fittings
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shape and size

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years
  • Level two, three, four, or five apprenticeship training
  • Valid driver's license
  • Steel-toed safety boots
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Judgment and team player skills
