Job Description

We are seeking a reliable Mechanic Assistant to join our team at Green Land Auto Center. As a Mechanic Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our mechanics and technicians in the completion of tasks and projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that all tools and equipment are properly stored and secured.
  • Assist mechanics and technicians with various tasks, such as moving equipment, holding stakes during surveying activities, and signaling safety procedures.
  • Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed by supervisors.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas, adhering to health and safety protocols.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent interpersonal skills, be physically capable of performing demanding tasks, and demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.

Desirable Qualifications:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Physical ability to handle heavy loads and work in dusty, hot environments
  • Manual dexterity and combination of sitting, standing, walking
