Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer II to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance and quality control team, you will work closely with internal teams and customers to deliver market-transforming programs that promote energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Your knowledge and understanding of energy efficiency principles, combined with your ability to provide supportive leadership and manage multiple projects simultaneously, will be essential in driving success in this role.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
  1. Developing and reviewing calculations and assumptions used to estimate or measure savings due to energy efficiency projects.
  2. Developing technical reports that summarize project scope, calculation methodologies, key assumptions, and recommendations.
  3. Reviewing facility energy audits, feasibility studies, and other engineering reports.
  4. Assisting in the development of technical standards, protocols, and requirements for innovative energy efficiency and green building programs.
  5. Assisting in the development and implementation of quality control and assurance procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, architecture, planning, environmental science, natural resource management, or economics.
  • 5+ years of experience within the industries of energy efficiency, green building, construction, environmental, or resource management.
  • Knowledge of building systems, energy efficiency technologies, green building, sustainability, and/or high-performance design.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience with technical writing.
  • Team-oriented, hands-on, adaptive, and client-focused.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, for analysis and reporting.

We also offer paid time off contingent upon full-time or part-time status and level of seniority, ranging from 15 to 25 days per year. Additionally, all full-time employees enjoy a minimum of 8 paid holidays per year and receive paid sick, family, and disability leave in accordance with the laws of their state of residence.

In addition to the competitive salary range of USD $74,173.00 - USD $99,070.00 /Yr., you may also be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program, which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators that vary by year and employee.
