">As a Music Therapist, you will use music as the primary modality to assess and treat patients, serving as a resource to rehabilitation staff, particularly in Extended Care, and to the interdisciplinary team. You will perform related educational and assigned administrative duties, utilizing your skills and expertise to improve patient outcomes.
">Required Skills and Qualifications
">- Education: Baccalaureate degree from a recognized Music Therapy Program
- Experience: One (1) year of recent related experience in an extended care setting, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Registration: Eligible for registration with the Canadian Association of Music Therapists (CAMT)
- Skills:
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Organizational and prioritization skills
- Problem-solving and adaptability
