Job Title: Information Security Specialist

At the Independent Electricity System Operator, we are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Specialist to join our team. As an Information Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information systems and data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement information security policies, procedures, and standards to protect against cyber threats.
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the secure configuration and deployment of systems and applications.
  • Provide security awareness training and education to employees to promote a culture of security within the organization.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies to ensure the organization remains secure.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of information security principles, practices, and technologies.
  • Experience with security frameworks, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework and ISO 27001.
  • Knowledge of security tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with IT teams and employees.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
