We are seeking an experienced Construction Director to lead our team in delivering large-scale infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Development: Assist in securing new work through participation in bidding and proposal teams.
  • Project Management: Responsible for delivery against all budget, schedule & quality targets.
  • Commercial Management: Ensure teams understand and protect JV interests under the Prime Contract.
  • Stakeholder Management: Create and maintain excellent relationships with all stakeholders.
  • People Management: Hire, supervise, coach, and mentor project personnel.
  • Communication: Build engagement through ongoing communication with all staff and stakeholders.
  • Executive Responsibility: Act as an ambassador to employees, clients, partners, the public, and executive leadership.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 20 years of construction leadership experience on complex major projects.
  • In-depth expertise in civil construction with a solid understanding of rail systems.
  • Experience working on complex contractual agreements and project financing.
  • 3+ years' experience working on complex rail projects and stations.
  • Proven ability to successfully manage large and complex construction projects through the full project lifecycle.
  • Experience working on projects with international joint venture partners.
  • Thorough knowledge of change management principles including identifying significant variations and claims management.
  • Proven track record with claims management and dispute resolution on major projects.
  • Experience with risk identification and management.
  • Experience liaising with clients, subcontractors, and consultants.
  • Ability to effectively recruit and build teams and manage senior project staff.
  • Sound understanding of contractual, commercial, and financial functions on major projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English is required (oral and written).
