Project Manager

Strata Engineering is a leading engineering consulting firm specializing in building science. We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to join our team in Burnaby, BC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and communicate project scopes and objectives with stakeholders.
  • Schedule third parties and internal resources for project execution.
  • Develop project budgets and plans to track performance.
  • Forecast workload and ensure staff utilization.
  • Provide weekly summaries to upper management.
  • Communicate with clients and present technical material.
  • Oversee tendering administration and vendor relationship management.
  • Support permit package preparation and negotiation.
  • Conduct career planning and performance evaluations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 years of progressive project management experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and client management skills.
  • Experience with formal presentations.
  • Attention to detail and passion for quality.
  • Managed teams of 2-5 personnel.
  • Understanding of CCDC contracts.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • PMP certification or eligibility.
  • Familiarity with building permit application processes.
  • Experience in technical writing and quality management.
  • Experience with CRM management.
