Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst

Nucor Rebar Fabrication is a leading fabricator, installer, and distributor of concrete reinforcing steel and related products. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to support our Branch Operations through a mix of asset management responsibilities and reporting on key performance indicators in the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Capital Management: Support the deployment of capital in the business through budgeting and reporting, internal control compliance monitoring, and preparing monthly transactions to account for the flow and valuation of Fixed Assets.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure accurate reporting of inventory through various accounting functions, including monthly valuation adjustments and assisting in annual physical inventory counts.
  • Operations Management: Support key business initiatives and business performance reporting through ensuring accurate reporting of weekly placed bar, preparing weekly placing reports, and preparing monthly KPI reporting and analysis.
  • Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate reporting of financial results through assisting in month-end adjustments, preparing calculation of monthly fabrication bonuses, and performing additional duties as required by management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • Recent completion of the CPA designation or in pursuit of the CPA designation.
  • At least 3 years of accounting experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Analytical skills are considered an asset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Excellent time management skills to meet various internal and external deadlines.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
