We are seeking an experienced nursing leader to join our team at the Kitimat General Hospital and Health Centre. As a Nursing Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of patient care for inpatients and emergency/outpatients patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the activities and delivery of patient care in accordance with established standards and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the Nurse Manager and interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement effective care plans to meet the unique needs of patients.
- Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and well-being.
- Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
- Advanced preparation in the clinical specialty of the assigned area.
- Three years of recent related clinical experience in the assigned practice environment and two years recent supervisory and teaching experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)
