About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Elliott Mumford Contracting Ltd. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a fast-paced construction environment and contribute to the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lifting, carrying, and moving construction materials as needed
  • Erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Leveling earth to fine grade specifications
  • Assisting in demolishing buildings
  • Cleaning and piling salvaged materials
  • Removing rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Tending or feeding machines or equipment used in construction
  • Operating power vibrators to compact concrete
  • Measuring, cutting, fitting, and installing drywall sheets
  • Assisting skilled tradespersons
  • Securing attachments to equipment or trucks
  • Maintaining adherence to safety regulations
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and physically fit individual with a strong work ethic. As a Construction Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting our skilled tradespeople on various construction sites.

Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Compensation

The salary for this position is approximately $45,000 per year, based on a 32-hour workweek.
