Deli Clerk I

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Deli Clerk I to join our team at Federated Co-operatives Limited. As a key member of our deli team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring the quality and condition of all merchandise meets our high standards.

• Provide customers with excellent, efficient, and courteous service
• Maintain a neat, clean, and well-merchandised deli department
• Assist with inventory stocking and taking inventory counts
• Comply with government standards and regulations
• Complete in-house training and certifications
• Alert management to unauthorized removal of merchandise and equipment
• Ensure the quality and condition of all merchandise meets our standards
• Follow all cleaning and maintenance schedules
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures

• Previous experience in customer service is an asset

This is a part-time position based on 16-24 hours per week, with the ability to work days, evenings, and weekends. The successful candidate will report to the Deli Manager - Killam Food.
