Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic Helper to join our team at Browns Automotive. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting our mechanics with various tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our workshop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist mechanics with tool handling, equipment movement, and material transportation.
  • Participate in surveying activities, holding stakes as required.
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public.
  • Provide support to tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed.
  • Clean machines and work areas to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
Work Environment

As a Mechanic Helper, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and efficiency. You will be required to work in dusty conditions and handle heavy loads.

Requirements
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Steel-toed safety boots are required.
