Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Nuclear to join our client's team. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for providing operational oversight of the Nuclear program, managing the nuclear inspection teams, and liaising with engineering, technical support, and other groups as required to deliver on contractual commitments.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leadership, with at least 7 years' experience managing team in a technical, inspection or engineering environment. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

This role involves defining, implementing, and monitoring oversight frameworks for operating units, new nuclear station builds, and workflow to track inspection work and findings in nuclear plants and for nuclear shop inspections.

The Director, Nuclear will also be responsible for identifying gaps in the development of operational policies, standards, and processes, leading the review and harmonization of existing and new policies, and ensuring that the nuclear team adheres to Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational oversight of the Nuclear program
  • Manage the nuclear inspection teams
