**Job Summary**

This role involves providing direct patient care as a Registered Nurse. You will assess patients, develop care plans, and collaborate with interprofessional teams to deliver effective care.

**Responsibilities**

  • Assess patients using observation, communication, data review, and physical assessment.
  • Develop nursing diagnoses and determine appropriate interventions.
  • Collaborate with patients and families/caregivers in developing the care plan.
  • Participate in the care and discharge planning process for patients.
  • Coordinate nursing care and prioritize tasks as needed.
  • Collaborate with interprofessional teams to identify and resolve issues.
  • Teach patients and families/caregivers about illness prevention and health maintenance.
  • Document assessments, nursing diagnoses, and patient responses.
  • Participate in research and quality improvement activities.

**Requirements**

  • Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Completion of the applicable post graduate specialty nursing course/program.
  • Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
