**Job Summary**
This role involves providing direct patient care as a Registered Nurse. You will assess patients, develop care plans, and collaborate with interprofessional teams to deliver effective care.
**Responsibilities**
- Assess patients using observation, communication, data review, and physical assessment.
- Develop nursing diagnoses and determine appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with patients and families/caregivers in developing the care plan.
- Participate in the care and discharge planning process for patients.
- Coordinate nursing care and prioritize tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with interprofessional teams to identify and resolve issues.
- Teach patients and families/caregivers about illness prevention and health maintenance.
- Document assessments, nursing diagnoses, and patient responses.
- Participate in research and quality improvement activities.
**Requirements**
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Completion of the applicable post graduate specialty nursing course/program.
- Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
