Gia Foods Ltd. is seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for determining the method of shipment, scheduling the distribution of goods, and preparing bills of lading and other shipping documents.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management, with the ability to maintain accurate records and ensure the efficient movement of goods. A secondary school graduation certificate and experience in a related field are assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine method of shipment
  • Schedule distribution of goods
  • Prepare bills of lading, invoices and other shipping documents
  • Assemble containers and crates
  • Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents
  • Maintain internal record-keeping system
  • Record shortages and reject damaged goods
  • Route goods to appropriate storage areas
  • Pack goods to be shipped
  • Unpack goods received
  • Oversee loading and unloading of goods
  • PAY and receive payments for goods

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
